More self-published shenanigans

Here at the bookstore, we just got the latest fax from a self-published author wanting us to carry his book (yes, that's right - none of them ever bother to do enough research to find out we're a used bookstore). I'm not going to tell you the name of the book or author, because these yahoos don't need any free publicity from me; suffice to say that this is obviously the most important book in history, because (according to the rear cover copy) this masterwork provides "proof of the existence of a supernatural entity".

Here's the best part: The book has a foreword - by someone who describes herself as a "literary agent". A self-published book.

(Oww...my sides hurt...)

Do I need to add that said agent appears on the Preditors and Editors "Not Recommended" list?
