Dead But Dreaming

Here's one that always makes me chuckle (albeit with a tinge of bitterness). Check out this book on ebay:

Dead But Dreaming

This is a Lovecraft-themed anthology from a few years ago; it includes my story "The Call of Cthulhu: The Motion Picture". This book was one of only two times I ever placed a story in a royalty-only anthology (I'd prefer to not even mention the other), and somehow very few copies of the book ever got out before the publisher went to Small Press Heaven or something.

For some inexplicable reason, this book now commands insane prices. The last few I've seen on ebay went for $300, I think. This one is now at $76, but has only been listed for a day; it will undoubtedly zoom up as well.

I don't get it. Is it just some thing that Lovecraft completists must have? Is there some brilliant story in it I don't know about? Seriously - if any of you know what the deal is with the value of this book, clue me in, wouldja? Thank you.
