Last night, trying to grab a few minutes of sleep through the heat, back pain, and early morning construction across the street, I had a tense and scary dream about being involved in a game of cat-and-mouse with a middle-aged psycho...named Tag Heuer.

Now of course I was laughing about this, but the more I think about it, the more I think the name fits a psycho way better than overpriced sunglasses.

I really didn't want to go to Myspace, which I truthfully find both very confusing and insanely commercial, but my Throwdown partner Michael Marano suggested we could use it to promote our filmic wrestling matches, so I bit the bullet and set one up. It's still baffling to me: Things like simple cut-and-paste work about half the time, and the whole "friends" thing seems both more complicated and less useful there.

However...I like Mike Marano's idea of using the Myspace blog for things like excerpts and previews, so I've brazenly stolen his idea and posted an excerpt from my article in HWA's upcoming On Writing Horror. Click here to get your taste.
