The 400 Blows

RL put on this Truffaut classic tonight, which I've never seen. Here's my review: A prepubescent gangster and his aiding-and-abetting miscreant buddy rampage through Paris, committing a variety of crimes including (but not limited to) truancy, vagrancy, theft, robbery, evading arrest, and arson, all while accompanied by uptempo tinkly music that tells us just how adorable this pair really is. Finally one of the clueless and insipid adults comes to their senses and puts the little bastard away in a juvenile home, where he continues his crime spree by escaping. The end.

And this is a classic...uh...why, exactly?*

*=Now you know why I never finished film school. I asked that last question far too many times.
