Dark Delicacies is almost here

Got my first contributor's copy of the Dark Delicacies anthology last night (this was the trade paperback edition; there'll also be a trade hardback from Carroll and Graf and a signed/limited hardback from Cemetery Dance). I read a few of the stories, and the quality is excellent overall; still, with all the old and new authors in this, isn't it amazing that my favorite story in the book is the Ray Bradbury piece? Yep, The Master's still got it.

I also can't recommend Del Howison's afterword highly enough: A short but sweet dissection of the notion espoused by some recently that horror as a genre doesn't really exist. I predict Del's words are going to be bandied around a lot in the near future, and I'm siding with him 100%.
